Kayla Macedo is a Mexican American artist, illustrator and designer based in the west suburbs of Chicago. She is a first generation college graduate having earned a BFA in Illustration from Columbia College Chicago. By connecting with others through her nostalgic and whimsical art, she hopes it sparks conversations of life’s trials and tribulations, and inspire a sense of mindfulness.

Kayla is currently a gallery assistant and freelance illustrator who has had her work featured in galleries throughout the Chicago area. When she is not working on projects, you can find her with a coffee in one hand and a book in the other.
